Suhani Shah Makes History as First Indian Woman to Win 'Magic Olympics' in Italy


 







India’s renowned mentalist, magician, and YouTuber Suhani Shah has created history on the global stage by becoming the first Indian woman to win at the World Championship of Magic, often called the “Oscars of Magic.”

This prestigious event, held recently in Italy, witnessed Suhani being awarded the Best Magic Creator Award, a title rarely achieved, especially by a solo female artist from India.

Sharing her joy on social media platform X, Suhani wrote:

“Winning the FISM — often referred to as the Oscars of Magic — feels surreal. Thank you for every applause, every cheer. We did it!”


🌟 A Journey Born in Udaipur

Suhani Shah hails from the city of lakes – Udaipur, Rajasthan. Born into a Marwari family, she took the bold step of leaving formal school in Grade 2 to follow her dream of becoming a magician. She was homeschooled and began performing at the age of just 7.

Her first public stage show was held on October 22, 1997, in Ahmedabad’s Thakorbhai Desai Hall. Since then, she has performed over 5,000 live shows across India and globally.

She was also honored with the title of “Jadoopari” (Fairy of Magic) by the All India Magic Association.

Apart from magic, she is now a corporate trainer, author, and counselor—a true multi-talented inspiration for many.
