Kota is no longer just the coaching capital of India — it’s now making waves in international sports too. Mahak Sharma, a talented Wushu athlete from Seenta village near Kota, has clinched a silver medal at the prestigious 2nd Asian Cup of Wushu Sanda held in China.
Held between 2nd to 7th July, this championship saw fierce competition from athletes across Asia. Competing in the 75 kg weight category, Mahak’s stellar performance earned her the silver medal, marking a proud moment for both Kota and India.
This achievement makes her the second female athlete from Kota to win an international Wushu medal. Earlier, Divyanshi secured a bronze medal at the Junior World Championship in Brunei.
