Known for blending traditional Hindu devotional music with Western harmonics, his performances offer a profound space for spiritual connection, inner calm, and communal energy through kirtan.

Krishna Das shared, “Returning to India is always a profound experience for me. The devotion and receptivity of the audiences here are unparalleled. My hope is these chants and workshops will help everyone connect deeply with their hearts and find inner peace and joy that is always accessible.”

Krishna Das: The Voice of Bhakti Music
Born Jeffrey Kagel in Long Island, New York, Krishna Das’s journey from ’60s rock bands to becoming the world’s leading Western chant artist is extraordinary. A disciple of Neem Karoli Baba since the 1970s, he has popularized Sanskrit mantras globally. His collaborations include music legends such as Rick Rubin, Sting, and Walter Becker. He earned a Grammy nomination in 2012 for Live Ananda.

Beyond music, Krishna Das authored Chants of a Lifetime, inspired the documentary One Track Heart, and hosts his own SiriusXM channel dedicated to yoga and chant.

This 2025 India tour promises to be more than just a series of concerts—it is a powerful spiritual journey bridging East and West, music and meditation, and individual and community.
